I don't know if I have posted this photo before, but I don't care if I did. It's one of favorites among the pictures I have taken in the last few months. The color and detail. Makes me happy to look at it.

Hey, hey, are you awake yet? This is the face that wakes Michelle up EVERY morning. Who can say no to that? Oh, wait, it's 5:30 a.m.

This is a common sight when we cook. His nose leads him to EVERYTHING.

I will confess to taking this photo many weeks ago. It was one of the wild flowers growing on the Gettysburg National Battlefield. It will be henceforth known as the lazy flower.

On Tuesday, I came home from work, just like normal. The second I opened the door I heard the jingle of Banjo's collar. I thought, "OK, he needs to get out." I walk over to his crate to find it empty and the door busted in. There was another jingle jingle behind me. I turned around to find a sheepish looking dog. All I could do is laugh. So we're trying him out of the crate now and he did OK yesterday. No chewing, or tearing shit up. Lets hope for more of the same today.

The view from the Pinnacle. It's worth the three miles of unlevel, somewhat rough terrain. While we encourage you to check it out for yourself, here's what it looks like.

We took Banjo out for his first hike of the year. It was the first one with us. He seemed to like it, sniffing the trail, the plants and everyone who passed us. Here, we're on the Appalachian Trail at the payoff view at Pinnacle Mountain.

This is where I grow Feaston's small cache of fresh herbs. We've got cilantro, parsley, rosemary, oregano, basil and elsewhere we've got some lavendar growing.

Every now and then we take Banjo in our back yard just to sit around. He likes being outside and is pretty good about it. Here, he has found himself a nice stick to chew on.
