Feaston’s Perfect Pizza

Feaston has discovered the perfect pizza recipe. We combined a bunch of Feaston signature ingredients to make our pie. You might recognize some of them — Fresh mozzarella, shallots and roasted red peppers — from previous recipes.

Really, we were in heaven. Plus, this was one of those homemade pizzas that came out of the oven in perfect time. The crust was crunchy, but soft, and the cheese was all melty.

We really don't need to try anymore pitza recipes. But we will, don't worry.

For this recipe, we didn’t just use any mozzarella — we used smoked mozzarella. Truly, it made all the difference in the world.

Here is what else you need:

  • Roasted red peppers
  • Thin pizza crust
  • Tomato or pizza sauce
  • Spinach
  • One shallot, diced

The brands really don't matter.

The first thing you need to do is preheat your oven to whatever it says on your pizza crust package. Whip out the crust an slather some sauce on. Then unwrap your mozzarella hunk. Cut this into thin, round slices.

Now, break out the frying pan. In it, you are going to sautee the shallots and spinach. Use as much or as little spinach as your heart desires, keeping in mind it cooks down. A lot.

Place the spinach and shallot mixture on the sauce. Then the cheese wheels. Then the peppers. Bake. Enjoy.
