Happy Monday, everybody! We had a very busy weekend of boxing up all of our crap, hauling it across town and then figuring out where all these pieces go. That’s right — we moved. And as movers are wont to do, we’ve been eating a lot of take out. So much so that we’re kind of tired of pizza. I know.
What does this mean for you? Well, until we get our new kitchen unpacked and ready to go, we won’t exactly be doing much experimenting. In fact, we’re thinking the first week in a new house is a time for some classic standbys, like spaghetti, a nice roast, maybe even sandwiches for dinner.
The bad news is that we won’t be posting new meals this week — we hope you understand. In the interim, we hope you’ll check out some of Feaston’s most popular posts — and the Daily Photo, which Mike will be updating every morning.
Shrimp and Veggie Stir Fry is great after a long day on your feet — it’s ready in no time flat
Spaghetti a la Michelle is comfort food at it’s finest
and Veggie Stuffed Peppers are probably are most-requested dish. Delicious, healthy and super duper easy
And hey, we aren’t about to leave you hanging on the liquor front. It seems a lot of our readers find us by searching for Kahlua alternatives. And boy, do we deliver. Check out our post on the other coffee liquors for a tasty and cheap White Russian fix. Ohhhh yeah! We could use one (or four) of those.
And next week, we’ll be back and better than ever. We’re thinking recession recipes might be in order. See you then!
